For some unexplained reasons, some of my colleagues are fond of sending me weird jokes or photos via email that often makes me think. This is one of them. Now, I am trying very hard to imagine how this plant looks like.

Last week was a great week despite busy with the stupid work and all. Why? Because Milan became the champion of Europe for the 7th time! Many do not consider this as the best final, and probably rightly so, because Liverpool is 3rd in their league and Milan is 4th in the Serie A. Furthermore, this idea of an ‘uninteresting’ final is propagated by EPL lovers because (1) an EPL team lost, which is to them, often unjustifiably; and (2) EPL is football and the world. Whatever it is, say what you like but the reality is Milan has won 16 European trophies, only rivaled by Real Madrid’s 15th. The rest are just infants compared to Milan’s success.

1963 – beat Benfica 2-1; 1969 – thrashed Ajax 4-1; 1989 – trounced Steaua Bucaresti 4-0; 1990 – tamed Benfica 1-0; 1994 – humiliated Barcelona 4-0; 2003 – defeated the cheats Juventus on penalties; and 2007 – brought Liverpool down to earth with a 2-1 victory.

To stop the all-conquering Milan from dominating world football, all you have to do — especially the British comics tabloids and Italian traitors press — is cook up some stories about Milan being corrupted, convince the court judges that Milan is involved in another huge calciopoli scandal, or report to Monsieur Platini that all the Milan players were on drugs. Then, Milan will get banned from football. Easy…

FORZA MILAN! FORZA CAMPEONI D‘EUROPA!

I am in Mukah now and have been here since Monday night. It was a bloody long drive from Kuching and quite exhausting especially when a colleague who has nothing to talk about but politics. My brain is full.

Liverpool is playing Milan tonight in the Champions League final, a terrible mirror of 2005. I just hope the result will be reversed. Milan’s the favorite but everyone knows what Liverfoolpool is capable of i.e. to spoil Milan’s open flowing game.

There is a huge possibility that I might not be able to watch the game tonite because I will be going to a village situated somewhere in a god-forsaken peat swamp, doing interviews and whatnots. I hate this situation. To make matters worse, my colleague is an elderly ardent Liverpool fan.
